Claimants in these consolidated matters appeal the orders of the Unemployment Compensation Board of Review (Board) which disqualified them from receiving unemployment benefits under Section 402(e) of the Unemployment Compensation Law (Law) (willful misconduct). The issues raised on appeal are: (1) whether the Boards findings of fact are supported by substantial evidence; (2) whether the Board erred in concluding that Claimants committed willful misconduct; (3) whether both the referee and the Board committed an error of law, by refusing to consider sworn prior recorded testimony; and (4) whether the referee committed an error of law and denied Claimants due process rights by refusing to issue requested subpoenas.
